Night trains to Copenhagen are included in the Revised National Budget

This week, SV and the government have agreed on the Revised National Budget, and part of the agreement includes a night train service to Copenhagen by 2030.

- This is great news for all of us who love trains! We look forward to participating in this work and ordering new long-distance trains if the government so wishes, says Sille Svenkerud Førner, project manager at Norske tog.

The budget agreement states that the government will consider alternative ways of ensuring the start of traffic as quickly as possible. Norske tog is ready to help investigate whether the operators should provide their own vehicles, or whether new vehicles should be procured for the route.
